Job summary

U.S. Tsubaki Automotive in Sandusky, OH is seeking a capable manufacturing associate to operate bending presses, cutting, and related equipment. You will read blueprints, monitor gauges, and ensure safety and quality throughout operations.

Candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years in a manufacturing setting. The role offers a 4-day, 10-hour shift schedule with potential overtime and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• 1-2 years experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Able to perform moderately active work typical of a manufacturing plant environment.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates bending presses and heating units for hot or cold bending, forming or offsetting.
• Sets up and operates profile cutting machine, crane, robotic scrap disposal, machining center and parts marker.
• Selects proper tooling according to code sheet or drawing and routing.
• Monitors gauges and controls and makes necessary adjustments.
• Read and interprets blueprints.
• Maintains quality to meet blueprint and ISO specifications.
• Regular communication with Design Engineer (plasma) and other personnel for issues and process improvement.
