Job summary

Hubner Manufacturing is seeking an experienced production supervisor to lead a machining team. You will oversee daily operations, set performance benchmarks, and coordinate schedules to meet deadlines while ensuring quality and safety.

The role requires hands-on skills with CNC programming (Mastercam preferred), use of hand and power tools, and ability to collaborate with designers, engineers, and staff across departments. High school diploma or higher is required.

Qualifications

  • Willingness to learn and work in other areas.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and shift priorities.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools including jigs, grinders, saws, torches, drill presses, etc.
  • Proficiency in CNC Programming (Mastercam preferred).
  • Proficiency in CNC Machining.
  • Show proficiency on all projects in the department.
  • Familiar with company policies, procedures and instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Supervising and coordinating production of team members.
  • Setting benchmarks and performance goals of team members.
  • Preparing performance evaluations of team members.
  • Overseeing training of team members.
  • Maintaining accurate data in ERP (SAP and Track and Trace) system.
  • Generating productivity reports.
  • Ensuring quality standards and a safe working environment.
  • Coordinating schedules to meet production deadlines for machining.
  • Manufacturing, troubleshooting and repairing parts, components, and systems.
  • Interfacing with designers, engineers and administration on new projects.
  • Providing customer support when needed.
  • Supporting other team areas with cross-functional tasks.
  • Identify and implement production improvements for productivity and quality of work of tooling, programming, fixturing, and material flow.
  • Ability to effectively launch new parts through programming and production process development
  • Maintaining proper housekeeping ensuring 5S is implemented.
  • Responsibility to lead production team to manufacture fixturing and templates for production parts.
  • Fulfilling other duties as determined by skill level and corporate need.

Educational Level for Position: High School Diploma or advanced degree required.

  • Proficiency with hand and power tools including but not limited to jigs, grinders, saws, torches, drill presses, and other pneumatic systems.
  • Proficiency in CNC Programming (Mastercam preferred)
