Job summary

Royal is seeking a Team Coordinator/Auditor for our Quincy facility in Hudsonville, MI. This role blends quality/inspection, line lead duties, material handling, and scheduling to ensure perfect products reach customers.

The ideal candidate has sharp attention to detail and a knack for processes and systems. The position reports to the department supervisor in one of our injection molding departments and supports the 3rd Shift (12am–8am).

Qualifications

• High attention to detail and a strong process orientation.
• Willingness to work 3rd shift (12am–8am).
• Injection molding experience preferred.
• Complete production paperwork accurately.
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform final audits of finished products, including dimension checks and quality verifications.
• Supply raw materials and move finished goods to assembly or molding to minimize downtime.
• Operate grinders and run injection molding presses during operator breaks.
• Schedule and organize work within the department per priorities.
• Print paperwork/labels, scan items, and manage packaging orders.
• Escalate quality issues or schedule discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Maintain awareness of shop floor operations and suggest improvements.

Your future starts here! The Team Coordinator/Auditor at Royal is a unique “catch all” position that ultimately supports company success by ensuring perfect products are delivered to our customers. The role is a blend of quality/inspection, line lead, material handling and scheduling. We are looking for someone who has a strong attention to detail and has a knack for processes and systems. Based out of our Quincy facility in Hudsonville, this position reports directly to the department supervisor in one of our injection molding departments and supports 3rd Shift (12pm-8am).

Job Responsibilities

• Perform final audits of finished products by doing dimension checks, First Shot/Last Shot quality checks, Standard Comparisons, DAC checks, etc.
• Supply raw materials and remove finished goods to assembly or molding departments to ensure no downtime via forklift/hilo (Experience not required but must be willing to learn)
• Operating grinders and running injection molding presses during operator breaks
• Schedule and organize work within the departmentfollowing established priorities
• Print paperwork and labels for each station within the department, scanning product in and out as needed, as well as ordering packaging
• Escalate non-conformancestandards such as quality issues and/or schedule discrepancies to the department supervisor
• Maintain an overall understanding of the how the shop floor is operating at all times and work with the shift supervisor to quickly suggest and make changes when needed

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 35lbs
• Prolonged periods of standing, walking and performing repetitive tasks
• Ability to hold and operate a hand scanner
• Bending and stooping
• Ability to use fingers, hands and arms to complete a task (dexterity)
• Hand-eye coordination
• All employees must wear approved safety glasses

Starting Wage: $21.15/hour + quarterly bonuses

Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED or 3-5 years of solid manufacturing experience
• Willing and able to work overtimeAbility to work 3rd shift (12am-8am)
• Injection molding experience is preffered
