Job summary

DWYER INSTRUMENTS, LLC seeks a Shift Machining Supervisor to lead the machining department on the designated shift and provide day-to-day direction to the machining team. In a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you will ensure production schedule adherence, drive key KPIs, and troubleshoot production issues while promoting safety and continuous improvement across manual and CNC machining operations.

You will collaborate with CNC engineering to develop and optimize programs and mentor setup

Qualifications

• 5+ years supervisory leadership experience in manufacturing.
• 10+ years experience in metal machining shop practices.
• Expertise with manual and CNC machining equipment.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of CNC programming for multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead the designated shift in the machining department and direct the team.
• Ensure production schedule adherence and KPI targets.
• Develop and troubleshoot programs with CNC engineering.
• Maintain machine data collection and process documentation.
• Review attendance and coordinate payroll in a timely manner.
• Maintain housekeeping and segregation of scrap materials.
