Job summary

ManpowerGroup is assisting a leading manufacturing and industrial services client in seeking a Production worker for the West Des Moines, IA area. You will join the Manufacturing Department, supporting machining and production processes and collaborating with engineers, planners, and team coordinators to meet production goals.

The ideal candidate has attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and strong teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of machining processes and equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques.
• 0 years experience; training and certifications in related disciplines are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC and manual machining equipment with proficiency and minimal oversight
• Troubleshoot machining issues and resolve problems efficiently
• Promote continuous improvement to enhance machining activities, reduce costs, and improve quality
• Assist engineers, planners, and team coordinators in achieving machining and production goals
• Train and mentor team members on programs within the discipline as needed
