Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Production Worker to join the Manufacturing Department in West Des Moines, IA. You will operate CNC and manual machining equipment, troubleshoot issues, and support engineers to meet production goals.

The ideal candidate has basic machining understanding, strong teamwork and communication, and a willingness to learn. Entry-level with on-the-job training and opportunities for growth in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

Basic understanding of machining processes and equipment.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques.
No prior experience required; training/certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

Operate and set up CNC and manual machining equipment with proficiency and minimal oversight.
Troubleshoot machining issues and utilize available resources to resolve problems efficiently.
Promote continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machining activities, reduce costs, and improve quality.
Assist engineers, planners, and team coordinators in achieving machining and production goals.
Train and mentor team members on programs within the discipline as needed.
