Job summary

Lindquist Machine Corporation in Green Bay, WI, seeks an experienced estimator to review RFQs, blueprints, 3D models, tolerances, and technical requirements to produce accurate customer quotes.

You will develop estimates for material, labor, setup, cycle time, tooling, and outside services; determine efficient machining methods; and partner with engineering and shop leadership to confirm manufacturability and estimating assumptions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of estimating or quoting experience in machining or precision manufacturing.
• Strong blueprint-reading and GD&T skills.
• Working knowledge of CNC milling and turning operations.
• Strong shop math, Excel, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, engineering, and shop floor.

Responsibilities

• Review RFQs, blueprints, 3D models, tolerances, and technical requirements.
• Develop estimates for material, labor, setup, cycle time, tooling, and outside services.
• Determine efficient manufacturing methods for CNC milling, turning, and related operations.
• Partner with engineering and shop leadership to confirm manufacturability and estimating assumptions.
• Prepare competitive customer quotes and use win/loss feedback to continuously improve estimating accuracy.
