Pratt & Whitney in Wells, Maine is seeking an on-site Machining Technician for weekend shift with on-the-job training on first shift hours. No relocation assistance offered. You will set up and operate NC milling machines, lathes, and related equipment, ensuring parts meet specifications and maintaining certification.

Responsibilities include interpreting operation sheets, performing TPM, and collaborating with engineers and QA to resolve machining issues. Location: Wells, Route 9.

Qualifikationen

• 1+ years of related experience, or a completed degree/certificate from a post-secondary or vocational school in a related field with 0-1+years related experience

• Verify conformance of finished work to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
• Maintain Operator Certification to be able to accept/reject parts.

Role Information

Amazing Opportunity on the Weekend shift in our Machining Department. Candidates for this role can expect to participate in 4-6 months of on-the-job training on 1st shift hours before going to their assigned shift. No Relocation assistance is offered for this position.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Ability to make computations involving decimals and fractions
• Ability to set up machines, troubleshoot, do standard walk-arounds and inspect own work
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously

• The salary range for this role is $ 18.30--$34 .40 . The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
