TeDan Surgical Innovations is seeking a 2nd Shift Supervisor to lead machining and assembly operations on the 2:00pm–11:30pm shift in Houston, TX. You will drive daily production plans, ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets, and coach operators toward standard work and continuous improvement.

TeDan Surgical Innovations (TSI) designs and manufactures specialty surgical products for use in orthopedic, neuro, thoracic and spine surgeries. TSI was founded in 2006 with the goal to innovate and address evolving retraction techniques in spine surgery. We have successfully addressed the need for minimally invasive, posterior, lateral and anterior surgical approaches to the spine, and have introduced access instrumentation for neurological, orthopedic and cardiothoracic procedures. yThe 2nd Shift Supervisor is responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant execution of production activities during their assigned shift. This role directly oversees machining and assembly operations, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining quality, cost, and delivery performance. The Shift Supervisor serves as the frontline leader of the production floor, driving execution of daily schedules, enabling job optimization, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. This role is critical in implementing Lean Manufacturing principles, maintaining visual management systems, and ensuring adherence to standardized work in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs occasionally, and work in a manufacturing environment.
