Job summary

Fortress Safety, with U.S. operations in Erlanger, Kentucky, seeks a Safety Services Specialist to advance machinery safety standards and interlocking expertise for customers and teams.

Educate, advise and help shape industry practices by delivering standards-based training, supporting NPD/NPI with compliant design, and translating complex regulatory content into practical guidance for clients.

Qualifications

• Proven machinery safety knowledge and application expertise.
• Strong knowledge of machinery safety standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Effective trainer with ability to simplify complex concepts.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Analytical/problem-solving with ability to translate regulations to practical guidance.

Responsibilities

• Drive activity to position Fortress as a safety authority via site visits, webinars, and workshops.
• Align Safety Services strategy with customer demand and regulatory requirements across markets.
• Serve as the senior authority on machinery safety standards with clients and regulators.
• Create content and deliver training on machinery safety standards.
• Support New Product Development and introduction ensuring design-in of regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to Fortress training academy development.
• Translate technical content into accessible training materials for customers.
