Chugach Government Solutions, LLC is seeking a Machinery Maintenance Mechanic to work onsite in Annapolis Junction, MD. The mechanic will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and repairing machinery related to classified material conversion.
The ideal candidate must have a high school diploma, 3 years of related experience, and the ability to obtain required clearance. This role demands good mechanical skills and the ability to work independently while adhering to safety policies.
This position is located onsite in Annapolis Junction, MD.
Under direction of the Facility Supervisor, the Machinery Maintenance Mechanic repairs machinery and mechanical equipment primarily used for classified material conversion (CMC) purposes. The work may include examining machines and mechanical equipment to diagnose source of trouble, dismantling or partly dismantling machines, performing repairs, replacing broken or defective parts. Duties may also include preparing written specifications for major repairs or for the production of parts ordered from machine shops, reassembling machines and making all necessary adjustments for operation.
Pay Rate: $40.68/ hour
