The Heavy Equipment / Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of facility heavy equipment and industrial machinery. Equipment may include cranes, diesel generators, hydraulic systems, power distribution systems, pumps, conveyors, motors, and other mechanical and electrical systems. The position requires the ability to diagnose equipment failures, interpret technical drawings and schematics, safely operate tools and equipment, and perform timely repairs to maintain reliable facility operations and minimize equipment downtime.
