Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in a related engineering discipline.
• Basic understanding of optics and image formation.
• Strong Excel and Word skills for data organization and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setting up cameras, lenses, lighting, and vision sensors for automated inspection.
• Evaluate image quality factors like focus, FOV, exposure, and lighting.
• Collect inspection images and help analyze defects and false rejects.
• Develop and debug image processing or test automation scripts.
• Assist with vision tools for presence detection, orientation, measurement, and barcode reading.
• Support hardware wiring and testing under supervision.
• Assist camera and sensor communication with computers and PLCs.
• Record experiments and help identify causes of inspection problems.
• Prepare technical documentation and support testing/validation activities.
• Follow safety and quality procedures.
