Job summary

Zobility seeks a machine vision engineer to design and implement inspection systems based on customer specifications. You will develop end-to-end vision solutions and integrate Cognex/Keyence tools, FPGA-friendly workflows, and lighting setups.

Travel to customer sites is expected as needed, and you will collaborate with a team to deliver robust inspection applications including barcode, OCR, and presence/absence checks.

Qualifications

• Develop machine vision inspections based on specification and scope of work.
• Perform feasibility studies and use Cognex Easybuilder, Keyence tools, and related spreadsheet analyses.
• Develop applications for Absence/Presence, Kitting, model inspection, barcode, OCR.
• Familiarity with external lighting, filters, and lenses; capable of integrating GigE networks.

Responsibilities

• Create machine vision inspections based on specification and scope of work.
• Perform feasibility studies using Cognex Easybuilder and Keyence tools.
• Develop applications for Absence/Presence, Kitting, model inspection, barcode, OCR.
• Engage professionally with customers and travel to site as needed.
• Work independently and with the team to deliver robust vision solutions.
