Class schedules will vary from semester to semester. Classes may meet in the daytime, evenings, weekends, or online. Faculty may be asked to work a split schedule (morning and evening classes) as well as teach dual enrollment courses in assigned high schools.
Associate’s degree in Machine Tool Technology or a related industrial discipline with five (5) years of direct experience in the machining trade. Master’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited school will be required for applicants teaching transferable courses. Knowledge and experience in operating mills, lathes, grinders, and drill presses [conventional and Computer Numeric Control (CNC), Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM)] are required.
