Florence-Darlington Technical College in Florence, SC is seeking an instructor to provide classroom and lab instruction in Machine Tool Technology. Responsibilities include developing courses and managing classroom activities. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and at least five years in the Machine Tool field.
The position facilitates hands-on machine tool instruction including CNC operation, blueprint reading, and precision measurements. Applications include work history, education, and transcripts submission.
General Responsibilities: Provide classroom and lab instruction for students, academic advising, develop and design new courses. Machine Tool instruction including hands on and theory, classroom management, and administrative tasks that may include reports, syllabus and lesson plan development. Topics include machine tool, CNC, precision measurements, blueprint reading, and industrial safety.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in the teaching discipline, or associate’s degree and demonstrated competencies in the teaching discipline required.
Preferred Requirements: Associate degree in Machine Tool Technology; five (5) years work experience in Machine Tool Field; Knowledge and experience in operating mills, lathes, grinders, and drill presses, conventional and CNC; Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM) is required.
Anticipated Work Hours: Days and times may vary dependent on course schedule.
