Job summary

Connect-Force in Wixom, MI is seeking a skilled Machine Tool Pipefitter to join our expanding industrial machinery team. You will build, assemble, and install hydraulic and pneumatic piping systems for custom equipment, reading blueprints and schematics to ensure precise installations.

In this role you’ll fabricate tubing, bend pipes, and route fluid power components while collaborating with engineers and machinists.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in machine tool building or industrial machinery assembly.
• Strong experience with hydraulic and pneumatic piping, tubing, and fluid power systems.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints, hydraulic schematics, and pneumatic diagrams.
• Proficiency with pipefitting equipment, tubing tools, measuring instruments, and mechanical hand tools.
• Safety-focused with commitment to precision and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and install piping systems for custom machinery.
• Perform precision tubing and pipe bending, cutting, threading, and routing.
• Install hydraulic lines, manifolds, valves, hoses, and fluid power components.
• Interpret designs to ensure precise installations from blueprints and diagrams.
• Troubleshoot leaks, pressure issues, and routing conflicts in systems.
• Conduct pressure testing, leak detection, flushing, and functional checks.
• Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and trades on builds and upgrades.
• Ensure finished equipment meets quality and safety standards.
