Job description

Position Overview

Responsible for supporting ISB/Blowmolding process and Injection, including operation of palletizers and strappers, baggers. Operation of blowmold and Injection machines involves performing short-cycle, repetitive, and control functions in set patterns to attain high‑quality production output that meets or exceeds customer expectations.

The role requires completion of all position‑specific training.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

• Maintain standard production objectives through proper machine operation and accurate production record‑keeping.
• Know and practice safe and proper start‑up and shut‑down procedures for each machine.
• Perform minor adjustments to machinery involving hand movements and simple hand tools to ensure smooth operation.
• Follow and adhere to all food safety requirements within the plant.
• Stop machines/production when necessary to communicate machine problems or break‑downs to Supervisor or Maintenance Mechanic.
• Inspect product for quality defects and stop production if quality issues arise.
• Maintain housekeeping and apply good manufacturing practices.
• Participate in quality training and GMP meetings to support continuous improvement.
• Follow all established safety rules and guidelines as outlined in the Employee Handbook and training programs.
• Use all personal protective equipment correctly.
• Perform other related duties as directed by the Shift Supervisor/Production Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post‑secondary education preferred (e.g., technical or vocational).
• Good hand/eye coordination to operate equipment.
