Aerotek is hiring two Machine Technicians to build, service, and commission CNC machines in a clean, climate-controlled Minneapolis shop. You will assemble mechanical and electrical components, test performance, and support customers remotely. Travel to customer sites and trade shows is required a few times per year.

Formación

  • Mechanical and electrical aptitude required.

Machine Technician
Job Description

We are seeking to hire two Machine Technicians responsible for building, servicing, and commissioning CNC machines. You will work within a small business environment that values versatility and expertise, allowing you to engage in diverse areas of machine operation and maintenance.

Responsibilities
  • Build CNC machines from scratch, performing both mechanical and electrical assembly.
  • Test machines for functionality prior to shipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Provide service support by assisting customers with troubleshooting and optimizing machines via phone.
  • Travel 6-10 times per year to various customer sites and trade shows, participating in tours and commissioning and servicing machines.
Essential Skills
  • Mechanical and electrical aptitude

  • Knowledge of CNC and automation
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Proficiency in assembly, pneumatics, and hydraulics

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
