Job summary

Aluma-Form in Memphis, TN is seeking an entry-level production associate. You will stand for long periods, perform repetitive loading/unloading, and help ensure parts meet specifications. You’ll read blueprints, measure parts, and follow QA procedures on a busy production line.

Responsibilities include tooling changes, equipment setup, minor maintenance, and clear documentation of actions. The role is on-site with multiple shift options and opportunities to grow in manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Basic math skills are required for measurements and QA checks.
• Willingness to work any shift as needed.
• HS diploma or equivalent is required for consideration.
• Ability to read blueprints and measurement equipment.

Responsibilities

• Work safely and use required PPE.
• Set-up, program, troubleshoot, adjust, and perform basic maintenance on equipment.
• Perform tooling changeovers as needed.
• Load and unload equipment repeatedly as part of production.
• Follow supervisor instructions and production orders.
• Review orders to ensure product meets specifications.
• Verify machine settings by measuring positions and first articles.
• Maintain part specifications by observing operations, monitoring speed, taking measurements, and detecting malfunctions.
• Document actions in production and quality logs.
• Assist on production line changeovers and communicate issues to supervision.
• Keep work area clean and organized.

• Verifies machine settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work-pieces.
