Job summary

Aluma-Form in Walnut, MS is seeking an entry-level manufacturing associate for full-time work on our production line. You will set-up, program, troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on equipment, change tooling as needed, and handle repetitive loading and unloading while wearing required PPE.

You will review work orders to ensure parts meet specifications, verify machine settings by taking measurements, and monitor feed and speed.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, program, troubleshoot, adjust, and perform basic maintenance on equipment.
• Perform tooling changeovers as required.
• Repetitive loading/unloading of equipment.
• Review work orders to ensure product is produced to specifications.
• Verify machine settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work-pieces.
• Maintain part specifications by observing machine operations, monitoring feed and speed rates, taking measurements, detecting malfunctions, troubleshooting processes, adjusting and reprogramming controls, sharpening/replacing worn tools, and performing basic machine maintenance.
• Document actions by completing production and quality logs.
• Assist in production line changeovers.
• Communicate maintenance and production issues to supervisor.
• Maintain and clean work area.

Work safely and use personal protective equipment as required.

Perform work as assigned by Production Supervisor/Manager.

Review work orders to ensure product is produced to specifications.

Verifies machine settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work-pieces.

Maintains part specifications by:

• Taking measurements
• Detecting malfunctions
• Troubleshooting processes
• Adjusting and reprogramming controls

• Adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes

Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.
