Responsibilities

• Perform PMs and coordinate with maintenance when problems arise.

This facility operates five days a week and produces Sausage Patties, Sausage Links and Roll Sausage.POSITION SUMMARY:Set up equipment in preparation for startup, and responsible for operating case packer, while also being able to adhere to good safety practices, food safety policies, and company policies.RESPONSIBILITIES:* Set up equipment in preparation for startup, and responsible for the running the KP machines, while also adhering to good safety practices, food safety policies, and company policies.* Set up V-Mag stuffer/grinder and KP machines.* Move empty racks into position for loading and loading logs onto racks.* Send out correct diameters of slicing logs to freezer.* Chang film as needed.* Identify and stripping out defective logs.* Drain water from bottom of KP and inspecting equipment.* Set up and breaking down grinders.* Record condition of grinder plates on grinder inspection sheets and turning in to lead/supervisor.* Inform QA and Production Supervisor in the event of issues with equipment/grinder or raw materials.* Informs and assists Maintenance persons in identifying and correcting problems with machines.* Performs PM’s on equipment in assigned Department.REQUIREMENTS:PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.* Basic Math Skills and ability to become certified in Lock Out tag Out Program.* Must be willing and able to work on and around machinery and chemicals.* Must be willing and able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit temperature for minimum of 8 hours.* Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.* Must be willing and able to perform the following task for periods of 8 hours on concrete floor, some of which may include but is not limited to bending, twisting, reaching, standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting.* **Must have a minimum of 6 months cumulative industrial maintenance experience or equivalent training.*** Must be willing and able to pinch/grip product and place into specified location.* **Must have 6 MThs continuous employment in the last 18 months.
