Job summary

Laboratory Testing Inc. (LTI) seeks an experienced CNC Milling Operator in Hatfield, PA to perform milling operations and support a busy machine shop. The role requires attention to machining details, adherence to procedures, and accurate data entry.

With 2–4 years of CNC milling experience and a strong mechanical aptitude, you will work under the Machine Shop Supervisor, ensuring calibration and quality across parts, while complying with ITAR and citizenship requirements.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2–4 years' experience with CNC milling preferred.
  • Good mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of programming.
  • U.S. citizenship eligibility required by accrediting bodies.

Responsibilities

  • Performs all types of milling operations as assigned by the Machine Shop Supervisor.
  • Squares up and machines specimens out of odd, shaped configurations to LTI procedures.
  • Operates multiple machines during a normal workday.
  • Follows all applicable and required specifications and procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance to machining requirements.
  • Maintains traceability of materials and parts during operations.
  • Ensures that the shop equipment and instruments are functioning properly and in calibration prior to performing any work.
  • Informs the supervisor whenever any equipment is found to be out of calibration or in need of repair.
  • Troubleshoots problems and takes corrective action, as necessary and appropriate and within guidelines as established by the supervisor or manager.
  • Monitors scheduled completion dates and times to ensure that established schedules are met.
  • The supervisor must be notified sufficiently in advance whenever the schedule for a job might not be met.
  • Inputs required data into computer software accurately and on a timely basis.
  • Assists with maintaining shop equipment. This includes cleaning the equipment, performing preventive maintenance as scheduled, and performing repair maintenance as required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Must meet citizenship eligibility required by accrediting bodies.
