Job description

Fast-growing CNC machining and 3D printing company is seeking an experienced QC Part Inspector. This role will require you to accurately evaluate and document in-process and final inspection of highly intricate metal and plastic prototypes and custom production parts and assemblies for a variety of applications across many industries.

The qualified candidate will be able to:

1. Utilize advanced inspections equipment, including our Keyence digital CMM machines, optical comparators, digital height gauges, micrometers, and calipers.
2. Experience with viewing parts in 3D using SolidWorks and/or CamWorks, and ability to read and compare all blueprints and part drawings.
3. Possess expert knowledge and awareness of technical drawings (ANSI/ASME Y14.5 GD&T).
4. Record data through Discus software on production AS9102 FAIR documents, and ensure all documentation is accurate and complete.
5. Operate proficiency with Microsoft Office Outlook.

Qualifying candidates will also possess:

1. Must be a U.S. citizen and able to work in an ITAR-certified facility.
2. The ability to maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
3. Professional interaction with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
4. Work ethic that requires minimal supervision to the quality industry and department standards, while adhering to best safety practices.
5. Experience to accomplish inspection-related tasks as directed by the inspection manager.
6. A high level of organization skills necessary for success.
7. An ability to perform and prioritize multiple projects with minimal supervision.
