Air Squared Manufacturing, LLC is seeking a Machine Shop Manager in Thornton, CO to oversee all aspects of the machine shop, manage personnel, and coordinate labor and materials for maximum productivity. The role requires strong leadership, scheduling, and purchasing collaboration with the Technical Manager.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in a machine shop/manufacturing environment and 3+ years in personnel management.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

Air Squared Manufacturing, Inc. is an OEM manufacturer of scroll type compressors, vacuum pumps and expanders for the medical, aerospace, fuel cell and power generation industries. We are looking for a Machine Shop Manager who will be responsible for scheduling, quality, and coordination of all labor and materials in the machine shop department.

Pay Range: $85,000 - $105,000 / year, based on qualifications and experience

Machine Shop Manager Job Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the machine shop
• Manage machine shop personnel and monitor employee performance. Provide frequent constructive feedback to employees to encourage continued improvement
• Facilitate the training process of new machine shop employee with support from the Technical Manager. Ensure they are provided with all the necessary tools and training to do the job safely and effectively.
• Manage hiring, disciplinary action and terminations within the machine shop
• Schedule machines and staff for maximum productivity
• Coordinate all labor and materials in the machine shop
• Assist and provide input with purchasing for items related to manufacturing
• Administer company policies as necessary. Maintain open communication with Human Resources regarding application of these policies and any personnel issues within the department.
• Schedule training as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Machine Shop Manager Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (required),associate or bachelor’s degree (preferred)
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in personnel management (preferred)
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in machine shop/manufacturing environment (required)

Location: Thornton, Colorado

Pay Range: $85,000 - $105,000 / year, based on qualifications and experience
