Position Type: Full time; Non-Exempt

Air Squared Manufacturing, Inc. is an OEM manufacturer of scroll type compressors, vacuum pumps and expanders for the medical, aerospace, fuel cell and power generation industries. We are looking for a CNC Machinist I (one for our 1st shift and one for our 4th shift) who would be responsible for setting up and running Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines, as well as being responsible for making changes/edits to the program as needed.

Pay Range: $26 - $34/hour, based on experience and qualifications

1st shift is Monday thru Thursday, 5:30am - 4:00pm

4th shift is Friday thru Sunday, 7:00pm - 7:30am and pays a 15% shift differential

Job Responsibilities:

• Make program adjustments as needed

• Verify conformance of finished first article to specifications, making necessary adjustments and conducting subsequent inspection of work pieces to keep output at desired quality level
• Complete essential documentation as required
• Perform and document preventative maintenance as needed
• Deburr metal parts after they have been machined
• Assist in shipping preparation, such as packaging, shipping and receiving as need
• Other tasks and duties as assigned

Qualifications

• MUST SUBMIT RESUME TO BE CONSIDERED
• High school diploma or GED (required)
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience operating and setting-up CNC mills and/or lathes utilizing conversational programming (required)
