Job summary

WilliamsRDM, Inc. in Benbrook, TX seeks a skilled Machine Shop Supervisor to lead machining, secondary operations and injection molding. You will plan workloads, coach staff, ensure ISO/AS9100 compliance, and drive continuous improvement across processes and tooling.

Strong CAD/CAM and problem-solving ability are essential. The role demands five years of machine shop experience, a BS in engineering, and demonstrated leadership to meet production goals while maintaining safety and quality

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing or equivalent.
• Minimum of five years machine shop experience in a related manufacturing industry.
• Demonstrated CAD/CAM experience (Pro-E or AutoCAD) and machine tool knowledge.
• Proven ability to communicate expectations, monitor performance and hold employees accountable.
• Knowledge of machining processes and injection molding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervises workers performing machining, secondary operation and injection molding tasks.
• Trains employees on job functions and safety requirements; develops training matrices.
• Conducts performance reviews and personnel management of the Machine Shop.
• Schedules personnel and jobs; ensures efficiency and utilization of equipment.
• Leads continuous improvement projects (Lean, Six Sigma, Setup Reduction).
• Maintains quality requirements, tooling, process flows and fabrication layouts.
• Reviews bids and proposals for manufacturability and tooling needs.
• Supports manufacturing troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Develops new manufacturing processes and implements them.
• Analyzes data and tracks cycle times, workload, capacity, and inventory.
