Job summary

PDS Defense, Inc. in Fullerton, CA is seeking a Machine Shop Helper I to support manufacturing operations. You will assist with parts handling, setup, and basic shop duties to help keep machines running smoothly.

No prior security clearance required; a High School Diploma or GED is preferred. Forklift and man lift operation per OSHA standards are expected. Pay rate ranges from $15 to $20 per hour, with benefits varying by contract.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Removes and weighs chips
• Loads and unloads trucks
• Sets up parts in designated areas to prepare for processing
• Identifies and ensures the correct parts are placed in the designated order
• Assists machine operators with general duties to support machine operation
• Reports problems to supervisor related to storage/placement of parts or machine malfunctions
• Maintains a safe and organized workstation following all safety rules and company policies.

PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking a Machine Shop Helper I, in Fullerton, CA.

Pay Rate: $15 - $20

• Removes and weighting chips
• Loads and unloading trucks
• Set up parts in designated areas to prepare for processing
• Identifies and ensures that the correct parts are placed in the designated order
• Assists machine operators with general duties as requested to support the smooth operation of the machines
• Reports any problems observed to supervisor whether they are related to storage and placing of parts or machine malfunctions, etc
• Maintaining a safe and organized workstation as follows all safety rules and company policies.

Skill/Knowledge

• A High School Diploma or GED
• Six months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to operate a forklift and man lift to approved O.S.H.A. standards
