Job summary

PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler for aircraft parts in Columbus, MS. You will receive goods, manage inventory, and prepare shipments, using SAP and handheld scanners to ensure accurate stock and on-time delivery.

The position requires a high school diploma, at least three years in a warehouse, and strong verbal/written English. Prior SAP experience preferred; US work authorization is required. Shift 1, W2 Associate, pay $17/hour; benefits vary by contract.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Inputs goods from/for external/internal customers.
• Manage internal material flow including inventory and warehousing.
• Organize and transfer products with customers (internal/external).
• Ensure goods are complete, well stored and dispatched to the right beneficiary.
• Receive all vendor purchase orders and verify cartons match airway bill/BL.
• Check and receive purchase orders into SAP, bag and label as needed.
• Match goods receipt documents to parts.
• Stock parts using handheld scanner per warehouse procedures.
• Pick delivery notes in priority order using handheld scanner.
• Pack shipments physically and systemically in SAP per procedures.
• Ship material by priority to meet customer requirements.

Job Description:

Inputs goods from/for external/internal customer.

Manage the internal material flow (inventory and warehousing).

Organize and assume the transfer of products with the internal/external customer.

Ensure the goods delivered are completed, well stored and dispatched to the right beneficiary.

Receive all vendor purchase orders and ensure number of cartons match the Airway Bill or Bill Of Lading

Check and receive purchase orders into SAP, bag and label as necessary and match corresponding goods receipt document to parts.

Stock parts using hand held scanner in accordance with warehouse procedures

Pick delivery notes in order of priority using hand held scanner in accordance with warehouse procedure

Pack shipments both physically and systematically in order of priority in SAP in accordance with warehouse procedures

Ship material by priority for customer requirements in accordance with warehouse

Education:

High school education or equivalent

Required:

Prior SAP experience preferred

Authorized to Work in the US
