Job summary

Atlas Staffing, Inc. in Boise is seeking a Laborer Machine Shop/Chip Cleanup Technician for a manufacturing firm. The role handles chip cleanup, shop cleanliness, and light maintenance, with a 7:00am–3:30pm schedule.

You will remove aluminum chips, mop floors, empty bins, and support recycling and waste tasks; experience in production helps teamwork and on-time production. This on-site position offers steady hours and hands-on duties in a busy shop environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a production environment.
• Ability to coordinate with others to avoid hindering production.
• Ability to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Removal of aluminum chips in the machine shops -- as needed per machine
• Mop the machine shops floors to remove excess oil - weekly
• Dump the aluminum chip bins -- as needed
• Inform supervisor when the aluminum recycle bins need emptied -- as needed
• Keep areas around the recycle bins swept , organized, and cleaned up -- as needed
• Shuttle filled trash dumpsters to front lot, move emptied ones to appropriate areas. -- check daily
• Clean the restrooms (urinals, toilets, sinks, mirrors, wipe down walls, and mop floors) -- as needed
• Stock restrooms with appropriate toiletries - as needed
• Empty trash cans (large ones in common areas i.e.: break room, hallways) -- as needed, weekly minimum.
• Clean, mop, and organize common areas -- break room, hallways, stairway -- as needed
• Order required pertinent supplies through manager. -- as needed
