Job summary

Keystone Powdered Metal Company is seeking a Machine Setup on 3rd shift (10 p.m. – 6 a.m.) at our St. Marys, PA facility. You will set up and adjust secondary equipment to ensure quality and safety in daily production.

Reporting to the Manager of Secondary Operations, you’ll document process data, follow procedures, train others, and contribute to continuous improvement in a collaborative team environment. This role requires good math skills and the ability to read procedures.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction).
• Ability to read and follow procedures and process sheets.

Responsibilities

• Set up secondary equipment safely with supervision.
• Operate equipment and adjust for product quality.
• Follow established procedures for this job.
• Record product and process information legibly.

Keystone Powdered Metal Company, a Sumitomo Electric Group company, is looking for a full-time Machine Setup who will be working in our St. Marys, PA location.This person will report to the Manager of Secondary Operations.This opening is on 3rd Shift, 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• To efficiently and safely setup secondary departmental equipment with occasional supervision.
• To efficiently and safely operate equipment, including the making of satisfactory adjustments to ensure product quality.
• To know and follow procedures applicable to this job classification.
• Legibly record and maintain applicable product/process information.
• Effectively utilize measuring equipment and information obtained from its use to insure continuation of control conditions.
• Provide active input to continuous process improvement.
• Effectively communicate job related information to co-workers, supervisors, service areas and others with a need to know.
• Maintain cooperative relationships with other functional areas.
• Participate in training of others.
• Perform other tasks as requested.

Qualifications
