Job summary

Western States in Butler, WI is seeking a detail-oriented Set-Up Operator (Adjuster) to join our production team. You will set up and configure machinery for production runs, troubleshoot issues, and maintain equipment in a climate-controlled facility.

The role requires hands-on mechanical skills and experience setting up orders on machines in a manufacturing environment. Candidates with auto mechanic experience or envelope- folding machinery background are preferred.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical skills with ability to set up orders on production equipment.
• 5 years machine set-up and/or repair experience preferred.
• Experience with envelope folding machinery is relevant; RA and WD machine experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily machine maintenance, changeovers, and set-ups.
• Inspect products and make mechanical adjustments to reduce quality variations and address malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot minor operating difficulties with hand tools.
• Operate all machines within the Folding Department.
• Verify order accuracy in labeling, printing, and packaging.
