Job summary

Dauch Corporation is seeking a skilled Machine Repair Technician to support manufacturing production in a union setting. The role involves maintaining equipment, systems, and processes at a premier driveline and metal forming supplier with global reach.

The candidate will work on various mechanical tasks, align spindles, reinstall ball screws, and perform hydraulic reparations to ensure continuous operation.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of past manufacturing experience preferably in an automotive supplier company.
• Ability to check for backlash in a ball screw by using an indicator, also the removal & proper bearing set up and installation of ball screw assembly.
• Realign turret heads, spindles, chucks, etc. usingindicators.
• Spindle removal, rebuild,replace.
• Ability to readblueprints(bearingstack up, hydraulic systems)
• Hydraulic Cylinder and Pump removal, rebuild, replace
• Hydraulic System troubleshooting
• Mobile Crane License and Rigging
• Ability to work well with others and in teams.
• Perform other duties as required.
