Job description

Pay Rate: $21/hr to start.

Role Description

The Machine Packaging Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Jonestown, PA. This role is responsible for operating and monitoring packaging machinery, ensuring products are packed accurately and efficiently according to company standards. Daily tasks include setting up machines, performing routine checks, loading materials, removing finished products, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The Machine Packaging Operator inspects packages for quality and compliance, identifies and reports equipment issues, and works closely with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong packing and general packaging skills, with attention to accuracy and efficiency.
• Experience with quality control processes to ensure products and packaging meet established standards.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members, supervisors, and other departments.
• Basic troubleshooting skills to identify, report, and assist in resolving machine or process issues.
• Understanding of packaging design concepts to support proper setup and use of equipment and materials.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and follow safety procedures in a production environment.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, packaging, or machine operation is preferred but not required.
• Reliable work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to work assigned shifts and overtime as needed.

Note: Machine operators will be working a Dupont schedule. Employees will work several days on day shift, have a few days off, then work several days on night shift, have a few days off, switch back to day shift, etc. For example, 4 days of 7am-7pm, 3 days off, and return to work 7pm-7am.

Must have own transportation based on the working schedule.
