Position starts at $17.15. We currently have open positions for various Machine Operator roles that applicants may be considered for.

We Provide On-the-Job Training!
Job Duties:
  1. Operate touch illustrated operating panels, safeties, and switches.
  2. Perform small mechanical adjustments.
  3. Use handheld scanners.
  4. Visually inspect products for deficiencies.
  5. Set up and tear down work areas at the beginning and end of processing.
  6. Perform general housekeeping duties in the department.
  7. Operate forklift if required.
  8. Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP, and SQF requirements.
  9. Use SAP if transferred or rotated.
  10. Read and write proficiently; complete on-the-job paperwork; communicate effectively across management levels.
  11. Possess computer skills if applicable.
  12. Pay attention to detail and solve simple math problems.
  13. Complete Lock out training.
  14. Become forklift certified if applicable.
  15. Pass safety and food safety tests.
  16. Work overtime and/or weekends as needed.
  17. Perform all rotation positions if applicable.
  18. Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:

The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation, including lifting, pushing, pulling, repetitive motions, working in cold environments, standing for long hours, and more.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 months of work history.

Applicants will be considered for labor level openings. Pay level is based on availability and relevance of experience.

Available roles include Blade Sharpener, Block Grinder Operator, Box Machine Operator, CEM Operator, CookHouse Operator, CVP Machine Operator, Dry Room Operator, Final Grinder Operator, Fresh Grinder Operator, Frozen Grinder Operator, Lowerator Operator, Machine Operator, Mixer Operator, Peeler Operator, Scaler, Spice Room Operator, Stuffer Machine Operator, among others.

Previous Tyson employees have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to three employment instances.

Additional Information:

Relocation assistance is not provided. The work shift is B shift (United States of America).
