MACHINE OPERATOR - HOOPESTON, IL

• HOURLY PAY RATE = $17.80
• This position for permanent replacement employees is available due to the ongoing economic strike at Teasdale Latin Foods’ Hoopeston location.

Responsible for the effective and efficient operation of the production equipment and the production of quality products with minimal waste.

Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

• Prepare machines for production, including calibration and cleaning
• Monitor and adjust machine settings as needed
• Supply raw materials to semi-automated machines
• Conduct regular tests to ensure proper machine operation
• Troubleshoot issues during shifts
• Verify output for quality and correctness
• Maintain records of production and defective units
• Keep activity logs
• Follow health and safety regulations

Additional Duties:

• Maintain a clean work area to prevent accidents
• Follow all safety rules
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Availability for 1st or 2nd shift work
