Job summary

Church & Dwight Co., Inc. is seeking a production line operator to join our manufacturing team in a fast-paced environment. You will monitor line performance, ensure safety and quality, and support maintenance activities to maximize workflow and efficiency.

The role requires reading and writing in English, good teamwork, and basic math. A high school diploma or GED is required, with manufacturing experience a plus. Competitive pay and benefits are provided.

Responsibilities

• Operates at least one major piece of equipment on any of the packaging lines.
• Conducts minor Preventive Maintenance (lubrication, cleaning, inspections, and adjustments).
• Assist Mechanics/Line Technicians with performing Planned Maintenance.
• Perform daily safety checks, quality checks, checklists and housekeeping.
• Clear equipment jams and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain SOPs and GMP adherence.

Schedule: Thurs & Fri 3:00PM-11PM Sat & Sun 11:00AM-11:00PM Pay Rate: $22.95 an hour + shift differential

General Summary: Operates as a fully participating and effective team member of a production line within the scope of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) required of this position. Monitors the performance and work flow of the production line in one or more functions in the following areas: safety, housekeeping, productivity, quality, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Essential Responsibilities

• Operates at least one major piece of equipment on any of the packaging lines.
• Conducts minor Preventive Maintenance’s (lubrication, cleaning, inspections, and adjustments).
• Assist Mechanics/Line Technicians with preforming Plan Maintenance.
• Perform all the daily basic safety checks and observations, quality checks, checklists, and housekeeping.
• Clear equipment jams.
• Ensure compliance to the recycling process of empty component boxes.
• Utilizes computer interface panels to operate the equipment.
• Maintain equipment and perform full change overs, washouts, and sanitizations.
• Adheres to the requirements of the SOP’s and GMP’s.
• Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment and adheres to all safety procedures as documented in the Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
• Report safety hazards, quality, and production issues to supervision immediately.
• Participates in all job-related safety, quality, and equipment training.
• Complies with all Church & Dwight Co. Inc. policies and procedures and NJ laws.

Non-Essential Responsibilities

Education and Experience

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $22.95-$24.50. This position is also eligible for a bonus. As a Church & Dwight US employee, you (and eligible dependents, as applicable) will have access to medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid vacation and sick time, and Paid Parental Leave. U.S. employees are entitled to paid holidays, floating holidays, and vacation days starting in their first year of employment depending on hire date. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay parity. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
