Job summary

Donaldson Company, located in Baldwin, WI, is seeking a Weekend Machine Operator to set up and run metalworking equipment for fabrication to exact specifications. The role is onsite with Friday–Sunday, 5 a.m.–5 p.m. shifts (paid for 40 hours).

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, scheduling materials, ensuring prints are followed, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace with strict adherence to safety and environmental policies.

The Machine Operator at our Baldwin, WI location is responsible for set up and operate metal working machines to fabricate to specifications. This is a Weekend shift onsite role, with hours Friday - Sunday 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. (paid for 40 hours)

Role Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate metal working machines to fabricate to specifications.
• Schedule and handle materials
• Assure compliance with print specifications.
• Utilize computer programming.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Complies with all safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures.
• Uses all designated Personal Protective Equipment as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate ability to:

• High school diploma/GED
• Familiarity with manufacturing process and inventory control practices strongly desired
• Ability to read blueprints and understand written and verbal instructions.
• Knowledge of general safety practices
• Knowledge of general metal material properties
• Ability to work with close tolerances.
• Strong mechanical ability and mathematical skills
• Communicate effectively.
• Perform a variety of tasks throughout the day in a fast-paced work environment.

• Ability to work in a team environment toward a common goal.

Preferred Qualifications:

• have some press brake or sheet metal forming experience

Hourly Pay Range: $26.76

This position is overtime eligible as per state and federal regulations.

This position is eligible for a gainsharing plan based on the achievement of specific goals.
