• Operates and maintains equipment.

• Communicates job status and production concerns during shift changes.
• Follows all safety policies and SOPs.
• Troubleshoots problems with minimal delay time.
• Communicates with Management on issues and corrective actions.
• Maintains production pace when equipment is down and seeks improvements.

This position is responsible for operating or assisting in a direct mail manufacturing environment with a focus on reduction in cost related errors, exceeding client expectation, and driving a safe workplace. Responsibilities and Activities:

• Operates and maintains equipment
• Performs adjustments on machine per job instructions
• Meets and exceed production standards and maintaining customer quality requirements
• Communicates job status and production concerns/issues during shift change
• Follows all safety policies and procedures
• Adheres to all current Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Troubleshoots problems with minimum delay time
• Communicates with Management on any problems developing and corrective action
• Works with urgency when equipment is down to maintain production requirements
• Continues learning new and improved processes to achieve increased production
• Facilitates teamwork among team members and between shifts
• Performs additional responsibilities as required to ensure the team's success.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

• High school diploma or GED

Work Experience:

• 2 years manufacturing experience (preferred)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Demonstrated manual dexterity, mechanical aptitude, and troubleshooting skills. Ability to install, maintain, and repair equipment following safety guidelines.
• Knowledge of predictive and productive maintenance systems
• Able to stand for long periods, bend, and perform repetitive motions.
• Able to move and lift 25 pounds regularly and up to 40 pounds occasionally.
• Able to stand on concrete for 10-12 hours.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow written and verbal instructions. Willingness to learn, develop new skills, and be accountable for quality
• Effective communicator with good interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
