Job summary

Innovairre in Minnesota is seeking a reliable machine operator to help meet production goals while upholding high quality standards. You will set up equipment, perform basic troubleshooting, and ensure paperwork, materials, and safety procedures are followed.

This onsite role runs 7am-3pm with overtime and weekend availability, offering benefits after 60 days and a collaborative, cross-departmental team environment across production, maintenance, and quality assurance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a machine operator role with electrical and mechanical expertise.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform overtime/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Confirms that proper paperwork and materials are being used.
• Sets-up machinery and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Assures quality work by following standard procedures.
• Records all production numbers and quality inspection results.
• Returns unused materials to the Warehouse.
• Communicates clearly with coworkers and leadership.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• High school diploma or GED

Work Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a machine operator role with electrical and mechanical expertise

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Experience installing, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment (conveyors, inserters, forklifts, air lines, conduit, and wiring).
• Knowledge of predictive/productive maintenance systems and ability to determine mechanical priorities.
• Strict adherence to safety/OSHA guidelines, including lock-out/tag-out, HazCom, and departmental SOPs.
• Manual dexterity and the ability to bend, perform repetitive motions, stand for long periods, and lift up to 70 lbs.
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills with a positive attitude; able to work independently or seamlessly in a team.
• Strong leadership traits with the ability to train/mentor other technicians and suggest improvements to upper management.
• Well-organized, able to prioritize tasks, willing to learn new skills, and accountable for quality.
• Available for a flexible schedule, including overtime and weekends.
