Job summary

CPI Card Group is seeking a Machine Operator in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This seasonal role involves operating production equipment, maintaining quality, and adhering to safety protocols in a climate-controlled facility.

After 75 working days, you may become a full-time employee with benefits commencing after the probationary period. The position offers overtime opportunities, with an hourly rate of $19.50 plus a $2.93 shift differential, for a total rate of $22.43 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is a plus
• At least one year's experience in machine operation
• Strong mechanical aptitude with attention to detail, including color differentiation
• Proficient in math for calculating percentages, areas and volumes
• Ability to set up computer-aided machinery with Windows-based computers
• Ability to collaborate with team members
• Dependable with good attendance and punctuality
• Elementary English communication skills required

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor production line machinery, conducting routine inspections and maintenance
• Follow safety protocols and collaborate with team to meet daily production targets and maintain quality
• Accurately document production metrics and promptly communicate issues to management
