Machine Operator- Trainee -- Swing shift or steady 2nd or 3rd shift

Machine Operator Job Duties:

The Machine Operator will work in a factory setting on manual and CNC machine tools. In this role they will gain an understanding of how to read blue prints, preset tooling, setup machines, perform and record quality inspection checks among other duties through practical application.

  • Read and interpret blue prints
  • Use standard shop measuring equipment
  • Learn to select proper tooling
  • Position tools in holders
  • Responsible to monitor the production run including performing in-process inspections by using standard measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, pin gages, comparators, various other measuring equipment and recording data.
  • Follow route sheets and handle parts from one machine operation to the next machine operation including finishing parts by deburring, tumbling, preparing and packaging product for sub-contracting operations.
  • All other duties as assigned
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Load machines properly
  • Responsible to monitor the production run including performing in-process inspections by using standard measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, pin gages, comparators, various other measuring equipment and recording data.
  • Follow route sheets and handle parts from one machine operation to the next machine operation including finishing parts by deburring, tumbling, preparing and packaging product for sub-contracting operations.
