Machine Operator - Third Shift - O'Neal Manufacturing Services

Join us as a Machine Operator - Third Shift at O'Neal Manufacturing Services. We are seeking dedicated individuals to operate and support various manufacturing machines in our facility.

Position Details

Shift: 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM, Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed. Shift premium of $1.50/hr applies.

Pay Range

This range is provided by O'Neal Manufacturing Services. Your actual pay will depend on your skills and experience. Please discuss with your recruiter for more details.

Responsibilities

• Ensure workplace safety at all times.
• Set up and operate machines, including adjustments and replacement of tooling, guides, jigs, and fixtures.
• Operate various manufacturing equipment such as angle line machines, bevellers, saws, shear, oxy or plasma burners, laser cutters, rolling machines, press brakes, machining centers, lathes, and laser tubes.
• Support safety and quality programs by adhering to all rules and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate forklifts and cranes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Proficiency with hand tools and measuring tools.
• Basic math skills including converting fractions and metric to English units.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Physical Requirements

• Lift 20-50 lbs repeatedly.
• Stand, sit, bend, twist, and stoop for long periods.
• Walk 2-5 miles during shifts.
• Good vision (20/30 with correction).
• Fine motor skills for manipulating objects.

Environmental Conditions

• Work indoors and outdoors, exposed to temperature changes, noise, vibration, and potential hazards like moving parts, electrical currents, heat, and chemicals.
