Machine Operator - Third Shift - ONeal Manufacturing Services

Job Details

Location: Greensboro, NC

Shift: 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM, Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed. Shift premium: $1.50/hr.

Responsibilities

1. Commitment to workplace safety.
2. Set-up and operate machines including adjustments and replacement of tools and fixtures.
3. Operate various machinery such as angle line, beveller, saw, shear, burners, laser cutter, rolling machine, press, welders, press brake, machining centers, or laser tubes.
4. Support safety and quality programs by following all rules and processes.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

1. Ability to operate forklifts and cranes.
2. Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
3. Proficiency with hand tools and measuring tools.
4. Ability to convert fractions and metric measurements.
5. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
6. Welding experience is a plus.
7. Ability to communicate effectively in English.
8. Strong attention to detail.

Physical and Environmental Requirements

1. Lift 20-50 lbs repetitively.
2. Stand, sit, bend, twist, and walk for long periods.
3. Good vision with corrective lenses.
4. Work indoors and outdoors, exposed to noise, heat, chemicals, and oils.
