Job summary

SupplyOne is seeking a reliable Post Operator to support corrugated packaging production on site in Wisconsin. You will set up, run, and monitor machines, ensuring quality and efficiency while following safety standards.

Responsibilities include handling jams, reporting malfunctions, recording data in Encore and the QA system, and collaborating with teammates to keep the line productive. Prior machine operation experience and basic math are required.

Qualifications

  • Experience operating manufacturing machinery required.
  • Ability to perform data entry for receipts and machine data into the system.
  • Ability to read tape measures and perform basic math.
  • Familiarity with job tickets and safety procedures (Lock-out/Tag-out).

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate corrugated packaging machines.
  • Set up and run machine to maximize production.
  • Stop or reset machine during malfunctions and report to supervisor.
  • Monitor production line for jams and quality conformity.
  • Record data using Encore and the QA report.
  • Maintain clean, safe work area and follow safety regulations.

SUMMARY: The Post Operator will be responsible for performing various tasks to set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on assigned machines. They will ensure the efficient running of the machine and is reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. Being a team player is essential since all tasks require close collaboration with co-workers. The goal will be to ensure that production procedures will be carried on smoothly to maximize efficiency and profits. Experience working with corrugated packaging equipment is a plus.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Safely operate machine that produces corrugated packagingSet up and run machine to maximize productionStop or reset machine when malfunctions occur, clear machine jams, and report malfunctions to a supervisorObserve machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products to standardsMonitor the production line, watching for problems such as pile-ups, jams, or glue that isn’t sticking properlyRegulate machine flow, speed, or temperature, dimension, pressure, register settingsMarking materials with identifying information using appropriate method, understand ink systemInspect and remove defective products and packaging materialAdjust machine components and machine tension and pressure according to size or processing angle of productAssisting in counting of physical inventoryPrinting delivery receipts for drivers, and assisting in securing loads with bars/strapsMaintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulationsSet up machine from job to job based on FG operational proficienciesUse Encore software to enter data such as caliper checks, order specifications, and box dimensionsFollows all Lock-out/Tag-out proceduresRecord all necessary information on the SupplyOne QAR (Quality Assurance Report)Ensuring production floor, machine area, is clean, accessible, and safeQUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and safely.
