Job summary

Century Furniture LLC in Hickory, NC is seeking an experienced operator to set up, feed, and run the Tenon machine for furniture parts. You will identify wood species such as maple, ash, mahogany, and walnut, perform setup adjustments, and ensure parts meet specifications.

You will conduct first piece and in-process inspections, record counts, and maintain safety standards. This role requires physical endurance, including standing, lifting, and repetitive motions throughout shifts.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and feed the Tenon machine to shape furniture parts.

• Check first piece run and perform spot checks for quality.
• Count parts and record quantities on the work sheet.
• Follow safety policies and procedures at all times.
