Job summary

ABB is seeking a Mold Technician Set-Up / Technician to join our 2nd shift manufacturing team in Ormond Beach, FL. You will support the Maintenance team and ensure equipment and production line operate safely and efficiently, calibrate and adjust machinery to meet production specs, respond to emergencies, and help drive continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma/GED, 0–2 years of experience with plastic injection molding machinery, and familiarity with electrical

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 0 - 2 years of proven experience operating plastic injection molding machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Operational knowledge of electric pallet jacks, overhead cranes, etc.
• Working knowledge of production flow and processes.
• Adequate interpersonal and communication skills (oral & written).
• Injection molding technical education is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responds to emergencies/breakdowns.
• Reports all recurring problems with machinery, equipment, and parts that can be identified and addressed for record-keeping.
• Sets calibration and adjusts equipment, machinery, and instruments to comply with production specifications and instructions.
