Job summary

ABB is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the Pinetops, NC facility. You will support the maintenance team, follow guidelines, and drive efficiency of machinery and the production line. The role is onsite and requires hands-on and technical work in a manufacturing environment.

You will manage breakdown responses, calibration, and documentation, ensuring safety protocols and production specs are met, while contributing to continuous improvement and reliability of plant equipment.

Qualifications

• Requires data analysis and reporting capability to monitor equipment performance.
• Experience with planned maintenance and backlog management is expected.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform light maintenance tasks on production equipment.

Each day, you will conduct activities according to agreed maintenance guidelines and procedures. Work may involve occasional lifting of materials, climbing stairs/ladders, and walking. Employees may be required to bend, twist, or stand for extended periods.Frequent use of computers is necessary for data entry, monitoring, and communication. Employees will also handle a variety of tools and equipment, from hand tools to machinery, requiring technical skills and adherence to safety protocols.Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed shoes, is required to ensure a safe working environment.
