Job summary

SunCoke Energy Inc. is seeking a production/operator team member in Middletown, OH. You will support the MTO team to meet production schedules safely, operate and troubleshoot equipment, and coordinate with maintenance for repairs to maximize productivity while upholding quality and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

• Functions as a productive member of the MTO team to meet or exceed production schedules safely and in accordance with company policies.
• Operates production units to maximize productivity within safety, health, environmental, and quality requirements.
• Assists maintenance with minor troubleshooting, PMs, inspections, and other tasks to ensure productivity.
• Provides support to maintenance for larger scope or emergency repairs as needed.
• Operates equipment (PCM, utility car, locomotive, door machine, conveyors, wharf gates) per SOPs and safety guidelines.
• Follows production sequence and communicates deviations to supervisor promptly.
• Participates in shift change activities and maintains documentation and logs.
• Maintains a neat, orderly work area and completes required reports and forms.
