Job summary

Suncoke is seeking a skilled labor/maintenance associate to support coke production. You will operate plant mobile equipment, assist maintenance with repairs, and load materials as needed to keep the production line efficient and safe.

The role requires reading instructions, basic math, and adherence to safety protocols. The position involves outdoor work in a heavy industrial plant with varying shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and/or GED required.
• One year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
• Three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Operate plant mobile equipment to support production and maintenance.
• Load railroad cars and assist with oven maintenance tasks.
• Clean, inspect and prepare work areas; read and follow work orders.
• Collaborate with maintenance to ensure safety and quality standards.
